My first or second Zbrush attempt, I think my first one was about 5 or 6 years ago and it wasn't very good. I wanted to make this look like a toy, and at first I though that it was going to be fairly simple because the character design isn't complicated, but it actually turned out to be a challenge. I quickly found out that there are techniques to create a smooth character, and I'm very happy with what I learned. Posed and painted in Zbrush, and more to come in the future.

Some more progress. I haven't used any type of sculpting tool yet, it's all plane modeling. I figured that would be the best way to learn my way around Maya, so far it's not lookign bad, but adding more detail in Zbrush will bring it out more. I Adjusted the tubes on her back to look more like the tubes from the alien movies.

I decided to model my female sculpture inspired by the Alien movies in Maya. At first I just wanted to make a simple low poly model that I would take into Zbrush and sculpt all of the details there, but I just kept going and going in Maya because I wanted to practice my edge loops; I wanted to end up with something that I can animate later. It's still not done, and I still want to add more detail in Zbrush and possibly tweak the face a bit even though it'll have a helmet in the end. So far I'm pretty happy on how it's coming out.
